The goal is to work with a system that comprises process quality in addition to food, occupational and environmental safety.

On 1 January 2013, COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No. 1099/2009, of 24 September 2009, on the protection of animals at the time of killing came into force, having been passed by Brussels.

Here at Friselva, we have made all necessary changes to adapt and comply with the new animal welfare regulations, as well as to obtain training certificates for all staff involved in processing animals, from the moment we receive them to when they are slaughtered. Friselva is a company that has always shown great concern for the environment and the surrounding area in general: it was even the first Spanish slaughterhouse to achieve ISO 14001 certification.

From that moment up to the present day, Friselva has been clear in its aim of attaining the best quality certifications possible in the food industry.
